CPR & First Aid


Who Needs This Course:

Construction, Manufacturing, Security, Education, Child Care, Hospitality, Property Management, Fitness, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Lifeguard, Corrections, Law Enforcement, Parents, babysitters and any lay rescuer in the community that wants to make a difference.

Adult, Child Infant CPR AED:

The Heartsaver® CPR AED courses are intended for individuals with little or no knowledge or experience with healthcare terminology. Depending on your interest, we have three classes from which to choose:

1) Heartsaver® CPR AED

2) Heartsaver® CPR AED – Pediatric, for those needing training which includes a focus on Children and Infants

3) Heartsaver® CPR AED – Total, for those working in the manufacturing or construction industries


All of the classes teach CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), relief from choking, and first aid. They teach all the fundamentals for mastering lifesaving interventions and recognizing the signs of cardiac arrest, and include relevant course completion cards. 


First Aid Course:

The Heartsaver® First Aid Course is designed to prepare students to provide first aid in an efficient and timely matter before help arrives. It is intended for students with little or no medical training that need a course completion card for employment or to fulfill specific regulatory requirements (OSHA regulations, e.g.). This course can also be taken by anyone who would like to be prepared to respond to any emergency.

First Aid teaches students critical skills in responding and managing an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive. Students learn first aid duties; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.

Who Needs This Course:

Doctors, Nurses, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), most Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Dentists, Dental Assistants, Medical Students, most individuals who work in the healthcare field.

Course Description:

This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. The Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize and practice responding to life-threatening emergencies, by providing CPR, using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and relieving choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is offered in a hybrid (online/classroom) or 100% classroom format. Please call for more details.
